Hey everyone. If you’ve been in my streams recently, you may have seen an effect I introduced for whenever someone would come in with the raid. The idea is that I want to remember the moments that someone decides to share their community with us, so I take a photo to remember the moment. Obviously, I don’t just want this photo to disappear, so it gets posted to a channel in my Discord instantly!
As you can see, this is a very fun way to thank the person coming in with the raid. My Discord has already been filled with several photos to remember all the amazing people who raided me by!
In this weeks Quick Stream Tip video, I go and show you exactly how I created this effect and how you too can add this to your own stream. We’re using it for raids, but obviously, with a few tweaks you can easily modify this to trigger on new subs, gifted subs, channel point redemptions, or basically any other Twitch trigger.
For this tutorial we’ll be needing a few things. First of all, it’ll only work in OBS Studio, so be sure to use that, instead of Streamlabs OBS (SLOBS). Second, we’ll be using Lioranboard to make sure everything happens automatic so you’ll never have to worry about a single thing, except to pose for when the photo is taken. There are a few plugins and extensions for OBS and Lioranboard that we’ll need for this as well:
